In short
- The platform is free and takes no payments: the deal is between the buyer and the shop.
- A bid can't be cancelled: if you win, you must buy the item.
- The winner gets a code and pays the shop directly while the code is valid.
- After 3 no-shows the account is blocked.
1. General
1.1OnlineAjurd.am (the Platform) is an online marketplace where shops list items for auction and registered users place bids.
1.2The Platform is not a seller, takes no payments and is not a party to the deal. The sale happens directly between the winner and the shop.
1.3Using the Platform is free for both buyers and shops.
1.4By signing up you accept these rules and the Privacy policy.
2. Signing up
2.1You must be 18 or older to sign up.
2.2One phone number can have only one account. The number is confirmed through Telegram or WhatsApp.
2.3Buyers give their real first and last name as in their ID. The name appears on the winner's voucher and can only be changed through support.
2.4You're responsible for your account's security and may not hand it over to anyone else.
3. Auction rules
3.1The auction is a classic one: bids only go up. The shop sets the minimum step.
3.2A bid can't be cancelled. By bidding you commit to buy the item if you win.
3.3Auto-bid. The system raises your bid one step at a time on your behalf, up to the maximum you set. Other bidders can't see that maximum.
3.4A bid placed in the last 2 minutes extends the auction by 2 more minutes.
3.5Buy Now. If the shop set this price, any bidder can buy the item right away and the auction ends.
3.6No reserve price. The highest bid wins the item. Shops cannot set a hidden minimum price.
3.7Bidding on your own shop's lots, or pushing the price up through arrangements with others, is forbidden.
4. The winner's obligations
4.1When the auction ends, the winner gets a pickup code in their name. The code is valid for the time the shop set, from 24 to 72 hours.
4.2The winner contacts the shop, comes with the code and pays the auction price. The shop may ask for an ID.
4.3The winner may inspect the item before paying. If it doesn't match the description, they can refuse it by filing a complaint, and their rating won't drop.
4.4If the winner doesn't show up in time, their rating drops and the shop may offer the lot to the next bidder at that bidder's price. After the third no-show the account is blocked.
4.5Refusing in advance also lowers the rating, but less than a no-show.
5. The shop's obligations
5.1Shops list only items they have in stock and describe them accurately with real photos.
5.2The shop must sell the item to the winner at the auction price with no extra charges, except delivery stated in advance.
5.3After the first bid, the lot's price and terms can't change and the lot can't be withdrawn.
5.4When handing over the item, the shop checks the code and marks it "Issued". "No-show" can only be marked after the code expires.
5.5The shop is responsible for the item's quality, warranty and the documents required by Armenian law.
5.6The shop may use the buyer's personal data only for that deal.
5.7Private sellers. A private person may also sell their own things. The obligations in this section apply to them too, except the address and opening hours. A private seller may have up to 3 lots at once, posts at least 3 real photos of the item and states its defects and what's included. The item is handed over at a meeting and paid in cash or by transfer only when the buyer has it, never in advance. Upheld complaints lower the seller rating, and after the third one the person can no longer sell.
6. Prohibited items
Weapons and ammunition, medicines, alcohol and tobacco, counterfeit or stolen goods, and anything else whose sale is prohibited by Armenian law may not be listed.
7. Disputes and blocking
7.1Disputes are settled between the buyer and the shop. The Platform may review a complaint and help, but isn't liable for the deal.
7.2If the rules are broken, the Platform may issue a warning, remove the lot or block the account.
7.3You can file a complaint from the lot or voucher page, or write to support.
8. Changes to the rules
The Platform may change the rules after notifying users on the site and by message at least 7 days in advance. Auctions already running follow the rules that applied when they started.
